Our business started with the founding of a company for natural animal medicine by the research chemist Dr. Claus Otto in 1990. The firm developed into a recognized analytical institute with a number of research and development departments - clearly focused on renewable raw materials. This was the starting point for the evolution of the business field of process development and technical production for the extraction and refining of plant substances. In 2004 we sold the division for classical environmental analysis.
The focus on plant-based products and theme related services was successfully continued, but was restricted by limited space. By moving to new business premises in 2010 we set the course for continual and sustainable growth.
Dr. Otto GmbH has been working closely together with national and international partners from universities and the business world for many years. We have a clear philosophy and employ a highly qualified team that works with joy and enthusiasm.
